Join Wikispaces for our June Education Webinar. We will show you tricks to get the most out of your classroom wiki and introduce you to Anthony Armstrong as he speaks on his middle school wiki.
Anthony is a social studies teacher at Del Mar Middle School in California. He uses his classroom wiki at http://delmarhistory8.wikispaces.com to engage his students in the course material. As he covers each unit, his students define terms, explore the subject more in online educational forums, or research, report, and create podcasts on areas of interest. Come to our webinar, meet Anthony, and see how he uses his wiki to immerse his students in U.S. History.
You can join us in our Elluminate room for the event. The event will be held May 22nd at 3pm Pacific Time. Click here to find the time in your corresponding time zone. If you haven't used Elluminate before, head to their support page before the event to make sure your browser settings are correctly configured.
We provide the world's easiest to use wikis. We have a large and active education community with over 175,000 educational wikis and over 800,000 teachers and students.
Our webinar series is designed to help that community learn, share, and grow. We teach the basics of creating and using wikis in the classroom and present educators who have lessons and stories to share about their use of wikis in education.
